Denise Oliva

President

Denise Oliva has been married to her husband for 42 years and has two daughters and four grandchildren who call her “Gigi.” Denise is presently retired and was formerly the Controller/Office Manager of Mediation Arbitration Professional Systems, Inc. and a Member of maps Lien Resolution Services, LLC. She loves living in Old Metairie and wants to give back to her community by doing whatever it takes to enhance the surroundings, which brought her to volunteer.

Heidi Dale

Treasurer

Heidi Dale, CPA is Director, Equity & Expatriate Tax Administration at a global mining company. She has been married for 37 years to Dennis and they were blessed with 2 wonderful children. Recently they became grandparents and now have 2 grandchildren who they adore. Although she spent a lot of her childhood in Old Metairie, Heidi raised her family in Kenner and moved as empty nesters to Old Metairie. She became in OMCC to meet her community and has thoroughly enjoyed becoming a part of this wonderful organization and helping it grow.

Ann Morey

Secretary

Ann Morey is a retired legal assistant and former realtor. She has one daughter who is married and a grand-dog, Sarah. Ann loves living in Old Metairie which enabled her to volunteer with the Club and led her to become secretary. A position she enjoys as she is able to coordinate efforts to beautify the community, meet new prospective members, and join in the development of future community events involving the Club.

Kellyn Queyrouze

Vice President

Kellyn is a Metairie native, mom of two littles, yoga lover, and local social security disability attorney. Kellyn’s dream of making the old Metairie neighborhood more walkable with a farmers market and collaborative events lead her to OMCC. She looks forward to serving the community and making her dreams a reality for all!

Katelyn Kerner

Director of Special Projects

Katelyn Kerner, born and raised in the Metairie area, has been an Old Metairie resident for over ten years now. Being a lover of the quaint little town, inspired her to volunteer for the Old Metairie Civics Club and now, is our Director of Special Projects. Katelyn graduated from John Curtis and UNO with a Bachelor’s in Business Administration. She now owns her own business, Sun Power, LLC, as a Personal Assistant and will soon be practicing Real Estate. Katelyn enjoys being with her family, the outdoors, decorating, cooking, and family fun events. Old Metairie has always held a special place in her heart and she hopes to help preserve the charm the town holds.

Maureen Brennan McConnell

Director of Promotional Development

“Mo” has spent most of her life in Old Metairie – in the home where she currently lives with her husband, Spud, and their three children. She hopes to bring a sense of continuity to the OMGC Board, connecting and preserving the charm of the past while infusing the future with improvements for our community. Maureen is self-employed as a Producer and Dialect Coach for Hollywood South. With a background in writing, media, production and entertainment, Mo will endeavor to bring “sizzle to the steak” in presenting our club to membership and beyond.

Barbara “Mo” Barry Hammett

Director of Volunteers

Barbara Barry Hammett, Volunteer Chairman of OMCC. She is a life long volunteer beginning as a preteen candy striper at the local Children’s Hospital to her current position as a board member of the Old Metairie Civic Club. Her longest tenure was at New Orleans City Park. She served as the co-chairman as a full-time volunteer of
Celebration In The Oaks. Barbara was born in New Orleans and has resided in Old Metairie for sixty years. She is still living in the same house that her deceased husband, Keith’s, father built in 1939. She is the mother of three children and has four grandchildren all of whom live nearby. Barbara looks forward to her tenure on the board of the Old Metairie Civic Club promoting the betterment of Old Metairie and encouraging more involvement of its
members.

Tracy Crump

Director of Special Events

Tracy Crump has spent most of her life in Old Metairie. She is a retired interior designer. Wife to Chris Crump and mother to Sarah and Layton.
She loves living in Old Metairie and plans on helping OMCC keep the area beautiful and bring the community together through special events.

Helen Westerman

Director of Membership

Helen Neumann Westerman was born and raised on Long Island, New York. She graduated from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York, and worked for many years as an Employee Benefits Specialist. She is an avid quilter and embroiderer and had a small business while raising her four children. Her daughter Mary Beth Westerman, is a Urological Oncologist at LSU who moved in 2021 with her husband and two children to Old Metairie. Helen followed them to Lousisiana and was lucky enough to live next door. Helen also has three sons and a daughter-in-law living in New York City.

Doris Schutte

Director of Membership

A native of New Orleans, Doris Schutte brings more than 15 years of experience in client relations, construction development, and community service to her real estate career. Prior to real estate, Doris led as the Director of Client Services and Marketing for a major national construction firm, where she honed her skills in delivering high-quality client experiences and understanding complex project dynamics.

Doris’s background in construction allows her to approach each real estate transaction with a unique perspective and careful attention to detail. She is committed to understanding her clients’ distinct needs, going above and beyond to deliver solutions that exceed expectations. For Doris, each client relationship is a personal commitment to excellence.

Outside of her professional life, Doris is a dedicated wife to her husband, Lucas, and a proud mother to their three sons: Daniel, Christian, and Mateo. Her dedication to the community is evident through her work with various non-profit organizations. She is a member of the advisory committee for Hogs for the Cause, actively supports the All Star Foundation, and contributes to HeartGift, all with the aim of supporting underserved children.

Doris has been honored with multiple awards for her contributions, including the 2019 City Business Women of the Year, a spot in the 2020 Hogs for the Cause Hog-a-Fame, recognition as a 2024 Woman in Business by Inside New Orleans, and inclusion in the Top 500 for *Real Producers* in New Orleans. With her deep commitment to service and community, Doris exemplifies the spirit of New Orleans, always working to make a meaningful difference.
