On Tuesday, July 24 the Old Metairie Garden Club held a general meeting and everyone was invited. Forty-eight people attended and five signed up as new members. The group was treated to a speaker from Louisiana Land Art LLC and learned all about Orchids from Denise Dunnigan Emmer.

Bayou Park on Metairie Road was the place to be Tuesday, July 17. Old Metairie met their neighbors, renewed friendships, listened to great live music and shopped 34 local vendors for the most interesting goods.
